Rutgers business school

The School of Management is pleased to partner with other colleges and schools within the New Jersey Institute of Technology( NJIT) and with other academic institutions to offer innovative courses and programs. The School of Management is a participant in the Ph.D. program in Management offered by the Rutgers Business School. Selected SoM faculty have joint appointments as members of the Rutgers doctoral faculty that give them the opportunity to teach doctoral courses and advise Ph.D. dissertations. The doctoral degree is granted by Rutgers University.

The School of Management is committed to educating students who will create value in organizations through their expertise in decision-making, information management, and technology management. Faculty and students seek to understand the implications of technology upon management theory and practice. We partner with the College of Computing Sciences in offering specialization areas in the Management of Information Systems and e-commerce so that our students are exposed to the latest management thought and the newest technological breakthroughs. SOM also collaborates with the Newark College of Engineering offering students the opportunity to take elective courses in operations management, engineering management and manufacturing engineering.
