New Jersey Institute of Technology

The New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) is New Jersey's public technological research university. One of the nation's most computing-intensive universities, NJIT offers 100 degree programs in six schools. The School of Management is committed to educating students who will create value in organizations through their expertise in decision-making, information management, and technology management. Faculty and students seek to understand the implications of technology upon management theory and practice.

The School of Management's BS in Management, Master's in Management, MBA and Executive MBA programs and its research efforts are directed toward understanding the effects of technology on technological change on business. Students and faculty at SOM enjoy the benefits of being part of a technological research university. We partner with the College of Computing Sciences in offering specialization areas in the Management of Information Systems and e-commerce so that our students are exposed to the latest management thought and the newest technological breakthroughs. SOM also collaborates with the Newark College of Engineering offering students the opportunity to take elective courses in operations management, engineering management and manufacturing engineering.
