Know the Score on GMAT Testing We’ve compiled a list of FAQs on the GMAT, including where to find a free example of a GMAT practice test and where to find a GMAT prep class. What is the GMAT? GMAT stands for Graduate Management Admissions Test. It is a 3 part test: GMAT Verbal, (reading comprehension, critical reasoning, writing) GMAT Quantitative (Math) and GMAT AWA (analytical writing assessment). It is used to measure an individual's verbal, math and analytic writing skills developed throughout their work and school career. It does not measure interpersonal skills, job skills or business knowledge. Where can I view a sample GMAT question?
Most students highly recommend ETS' The Official Guide for GMAT Review as the best overall GMAT book. Students use the practice test sections as fairly accurate indicators of their potential GMAT score. Is there a list of official GMAT test centers?
